San Diego Comic-Con SDCC 2025 Lineup Revealed: Major Panels, Hall H Highlights & Studio Showcases

It’s that time again! The SDCC, or the San Diego Comic-Con takes place from July 24th through the 27th and promises to be huge this year. With nearly 180,000 people in attendance, the SDCC is one of the largest in the country. Known officially as Comic-Con International 2025, this year’s theme will be celebrating alien life, the 50th anniversary of Jaws, and yes, there’s going to be bumper cars!

Major Panels at the SDCC

There will be TV, movie, and comic/pop culture panels at the 2025 SDCC. One of the biggest ones will be George Lucas, participating in the ‘Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.’ Guillermo Del Toro is also on the panel. This one is not to be missed!

Another panel is the infamous (and beloved) Coyote vs. Acme. Hopefully Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner will stay still long enough for some Q&A. Speaking of John Cena, the Peacemaker star will be present to meet and greet, and answer any questions.

Both Alien: Earth and Predator: Badlands will be in the house with fan merch, info, and potential presceenings. Also, something very special for NCIS fans – NCIS: Tony & Ziva will be there. Star Brian Dietzen will be moderating.

Another panel is Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty – discussing season 8. The entire voice cast will be there, giving sneak previews into the new season.

King of the Hill is back in the house! Yay! Discussing season 14, Easter, eggs, and catching up with all the favorite characters – Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, along with Toby Huss, will be answering all the burning questions.

For those who are fans of serial killers, Dexter: Resurrection will have a panel. Stars Michael C. Hall, James Remar, and David Zayas are moderated by Jamie Chung of Dexter: New Blood.

Hall H Highlights at the SDCC

Hall H will host both TV and film projects – all highly anticipated! For the television side, some highlights are:

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

Interview with the Vampire

Abbott Elementary

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

On the film side, highlights include:

Tron: Ares

The Toxic Avenger

Project Hail Mary

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

The Long Walk (by Stephen King)

These are just a few of the fan faves that SDCC 2025 has lined up. Although Marvel this year won’t be present, there’s still plenty of entertainment and excitement to go around.

Studio Showcases at the SDCC

No Marvel? No problem! (Well, they’ll be missed a little…) But there’s DC to fill the spot! While we have the new Superman movie out – plus Absolute Universe – this a the time for DC to make a splash. (Or a boom or a burst… you get the gist.)

Studio showcases at the SDCC include:

DC Studios with James Gunn and Peter Safran

Hasbro with G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Transformers, and Hasbro Pulse

AMC Studios with The Walking Dead, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Clown in a Cornfield, and Collider Ladies Night After Dark

Numerous video games will be available to check out, ask questions about, and play! And don’t forget, Twisted Metal (that’s a great metal band name) will have bumper cars to drive! Very exciting.

What Else is Happening at SDCC 2025?

A few extra things to note: because attendance is expected to be high in San Diego, some activities will happen offsite.
