5 Worst Marvel Series Ranked From Bad to Worse

5 Worst Marvel Series

Just yikes. While we do love Marvel and pretty much almost everything in the MCU, once in a while Marvel will put out some questionable stuff and that’s why we bring the 5 worst Marvel series. Sometimes the series just doesn’t work, or the characters don’t fit, and other times the plot doesn’t attract many viewers. So what are some of the Marvel series that bombed? Here we have listed the 5 worst Marvel series.

5 Worst Marvel Series Ranked From Bad to Worse

We will start off with the ones that were creative, then descend into the Marvel series which… well, totally cratered. Face-planted. Stank. You get the picture.

1. The Gifted (2017)

The Gifted was only on two seasons. It was a creative show, which explored a dystopian world where mutated humans were treated poorly. They were distrusted and even hated. In an institute the mutant humans were able to learn how to preserve themselves and get along with society. The show had an interesting concept, but it failed to keep steady ratings, even with Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker starring.

2. Ms Marvel (2022)

They tried and they missed. With a good cast, including Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, The series never seemed to get off the ground. It lasted for one season and Khan’s acting drew praise. We would have liked to see how Ms. Khan related to life with her superpowers for another season or two. Bonus points for a super talented cast but definitely one of the 5 worst Marvel series.

3. Moon Knight (2022)

Another series which lasted only one season, Moon Knight, had an excellent cast. With both Oscar Isaac and with Ethan Hawke as the main antagonist, one would think this would be a success, but it was not. This goes to show that what looks good on paper doesn’t always translate to the screen. This series definitely ranks in the 5 worst Marvel series.

4. Luke Cage (2016)

The set up for Luke Cage was great. It followed a man from Harlem, who gets caught up in an experiment (which goes wrong, of course), and he returns with superpowers. Although the plot was not very original, the cast did a stellar job. The series starred Mike Colter and Simone Missick. Unfortunately, the series premise was done many, many times before and therefore, it makes way in the 5 worst Marvel series.

5. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (2022)

Even Tatiana Maslany couldn’t save this one. The talented actress, best known for Orphan Black, played Jennifer Walters. Jennifer was an attorney by day, and a huge, green, crimefighting She-Hulk at night. Never thought those words would be juxtaposed. We saved the most ill-conceived for last of the five worst Marvel series. Nope.

Wrapping Up

It happens – sometimes a successful franchise like Marvel will put out a few duds. While a lot of these ideas had potential, it’s not always best to act on them. Hopefully those in charge at the MCU will learn from their mistakes – and will breathe new life into some of these characters so they have a different purpose.
