With so many big streaming giants like Netflix and Hulu, just to name a few, it can sometimes be hard trying to figure out what you want to stream. If you’ve exhausted Netflix, Paramount Plus might be the next best streaming service for you to turn to. There are tons of original shows and movies, along with current TV shows on regular television and old classics you can watch over and over to choose from.

There’s so much to choose from when you’re streaming Paramount. There’s original content, on-demand shows, live sports, as well as beloved shows and movies that you can stream over and over again. There are shows from a number of networks, including CBS, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, and the Smithsonian Channel. If you want to try something other than Netflix or Hulu, this might be the streaming service for you.
Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets is a Showtime original series that streams on Paramount. The show follows a group of girls on a high school soccer team who get into a plane crash. They survive the crash, but now they have to survive the wilderness where they crash-landed. The psychological thriller follows the girls and their fight to stay alive. It also follows them 25 years later as they struggle to continue to live their lives with the traumatic crash continuing to haunt them.
Landman
Landman is the new hit show on Paramount Plus. The show has become so popular so fast that it has become the #1 Paramount Plus original (series or movie) ever for the service with 14.9 million households through four weeks. The series follows Tommy Norris as the Texas town that he lives in faces a boom in the oil industry. He and other executives and billionaires are fighting each other to make money and stake their claim on the oil in the land.
1923
Exclusively available only on Paramount, 1923 is a prequel to another extremely popular Paramount original, Yellowstone. Once again, the Dutton family is the focus of the show, facing challenges that the current Duttons on Yellowstone don’t have to think about. Instead, these Duttons face prohibition, a terrible drought, and even the Great Depression.
The Agency
The Agency is a Paramount Plus original that has George Clooney as one of its producers. The show is an American spy thriller series that is a remake of a French series, Le Bureau des Légendes. The show follows CIA agent Martian as he has to leave his life as an undercover agent and return to his “normal” life. When he’s faced with love, he has to choose whether he wants to follow his head or his heart.
Mayor of Kingstown
Set in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan, Mayor of Kingstown is a Paramount Plus original that focuses on the McLusky family. The town is known for incarcerating people, and the McLusky family has been acting as mediators between the criminals, prison guards, prisoners, and the police. Starring Jeremy Renner, he and his family try to restore order and bring some sort of peace to the town.
Tulsa King
Starring Sylvester Stallone, Tulsa King is another original show from Paramount. It follows a Mafia capo who was just released from prison after 25 years. He must learn how to adjust back into his old life after being away for so long. He is sent by his mob boss to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he starts up his own little mafia family as he works with some unlikely candidates to start his own criminal empire in an unlikely town.
Happy Face
Yet another Paramount Plus original, Happy Face is an American crime drama series. It was inspired by the true story of Keith Kesperson and his relationship with his daughter, Melissa Moore. The story follows how Melissa discovered that Keith is also known as the Happy Face Killer. The show was also adapted from the 2018 podcast by the same title by Melissa, along with her autobiography, Shattered Silence.
Lioness
Lioness is another original series from Paramount that’s based on a real-life US Military Program. It follows Joe, as she is heavily involved professionally with the CIA, to fight the war on terror. She and her partner go undercover as they try to combat terrorists and do everything in their power to try and prevent another terror attack as detrimental as 9/11.
The Curse
Another original show from Paramount Plus, The Curse follows a newlywed couple, Whitney and Asher Siegel, as they try to start a community of eco-conscious housing in New Mexico. Intrigued by their story, a TV producer decides to showcase their story. One day, Asher is cursed by a child that he meets while filming, and everything else starts to go downhill from there. Could it be the curse that was bestowed upon them?
Evil
Evil is a little different than the other shows on this list. While it is considered to be a Paramount Plus original, it started off on CBS before it was moved to Paramount. The series has come to an end, with the final three seasons appearing on the streaming service. The show follows a forensic psychologist, a Catholic seminarian, and a technology contractor as they are hired by the church to investigate supernatural events.
